I curated an art project and book, which explores the current recession through the framework of the alphabet. There was also a group show of the pieces that went into the book.
Artists participating in the group show include Cathy Akers, Nancy Haselbacher, myself, Michele Jaquis, Louisa Van Leer, Juanita Meneses, and Jeremy Quinn. The group show took place at Project_210, a wonderful gallery in Pasadena run by the artists Quinton Bemiller and Chuck Feesago.

I participated this fantastic event, curated by Stephen Van Dyck that takes place all along the entire 47 miles of Washington Boulevard. Artists are setting up installations, performing, you name it. Not to be missed! My interactive/participatory project "RECESS!", was located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Fairfax and Washington. Pictures to be posted soon!

My piece "3 Questions For This Particular Moment" was included in "Conventions and Attitudes", a projection project of images from over 100 artist participants, curated by Karen Atkinson. Exchange Rate 2008 is an international art project, which creates conversation and performances about the 2008 US presidential election. Organized by Los Angeles-based artist Elana Mann, the project set in motion a series of international performance exchanges between thirty-eight artists in sixteen countries, culminating in an event at Remy's on election night.

My project "Overheard" was included in this year's Soundwalk. My project is a multi-channel sound installation featuring conversations overheard on public transportation. The project was installed at a bus stop at the corner of Linden and 1st.

My project "The Name Behind the Sign" was in this year's Conflux. The project is a series of interactive walks that explore businesses that are named after people's first names.
